Needle felting is a craft created by using a barbed needle and wool fibre. It's a process of transforming wool into realistic looking animals, food and many other things.  Barbs on the needle lock the wool fibres in place.

Mosaic is a decoration made with small pieces of glass, stone or other material. In the 4th century, some of the first works of art were made as mosaics in churches. They are very durable; as long as the building stands they can last for many centuries without fading, while a painting will fade or erode.
